ElectionValidation.com (“we”, “us”) is operated by ElectionValidation.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. ElectionValidation.com is a privately operated citizen petition and is not affiliated with any government election office.

1. Information we collect

Information you enter in the form:

Your first and last name, street address, city, state and ZIP code
Your email address and cell phone number
Your driver’s license number
Your typed electronic signature, printed name and the date you signed
Where you cast your vote, the candidates you say you voted for, and whether you were unable to vote
Your answers to the confirmation checkboxes on the petition

Everything about how you voted is self-reported and voluntary. You may leave candidate choices blank.

Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your submission, which we keep to help prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions. The site uses one essential session cookie to keep the two form steps together and to protect the form against misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

To record your signed Legislative Petition and your voting experience
To present the petition to elected members of your state legislature, as you authorize on the petition form
To send you a confirmation email with a copy of your petition, and to notify our administrators of new submissions
To prevent duplicate submissions (one petition per email address or cell number) and to detect abuse
To compile totals and summaries of submissions, for example by state or by race

3. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

With elected officials: when presenting the petition to members of your state legislature, we may include your name, city, state and signature. We do not include your driver’s license number, full street address, email or phone number unless an official requires them to verify that a signer is a constituent.
With service providers who host this website, its database and its email service, only as needed to operate the site
When required by law, for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or others

Summaries that do not identify any individual (for example, the number of submissions per state) may be shared publicly.

4. How we protect your information

The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your driver’s license number is encrypted before it is stored, is never included in emails, and can only be viewed by authorized administrators. Access to submissions requires a password. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

5. How long we keep it

We keep submissions for as long as needed to present and support the petition and the related election review, and then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your submission at any time (see section 7).

6. Third-party content

Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google’s privacy policy for how it handles this information.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you submitted by emailing larry@myusadashboard.com from the email address you used on the form. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

8. Children

This site is intended for voters aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
